"Elekid, use Quick Attack to dodge!" For whatever reason, he always used Quick Attack for an escape or positioning, not as an attack. This close, though, the rock still nailed Elekid. However, the dash from Quick Attack and the force of Rock Throw set Elekid up perfectly for an attack on Rhyhorn. "Damn! Elekid, Brick Break on Rhyhorn!"

Rhyhorn was caught off guard as he crushed towards the rock wall beside him. He decided to fight back with Horn Attack as he rammed towards Elekid, horn first.

(AIM FOR THE HORN! LOL. Reminds me.)

"Elekid, since he's kind enough to give you a target, use Brick Break! Aim for the horn!" Not that it would make a difference where he hit it, that Rhyhorn wouldn't be capable of handling more than two or three of those hits. And Geodude was fast, so his defense probably suffered as a result. Looking over at Lasso, it seemed like he had things under control, as well.

It is said that Rhyhorns are not that smart. Knowing that he would get hit, Rhyhorn kept running towards Elekid and then got hit by the Brick Break. He should go down in just a few more blows. Geodude decides to take advantage of this. He went behind and used another Rock Throw towards Elekid!

Izzy nearly laughed; this was too good to be true. "Elekid, DUCK!" The Rock Throw hurtled over Elekid's head, soaring towards Rhyhorn. "Turn around, and use Brick Break on Geodude!" Elekid spun, fist glowing and spinning up towards the Geodude.

Rhyhorn was hit by his own ally's attack but it's not very effective. Feeling weak, Rhyhorn still managed to attack his ally with Horn Attack. Elekid's Brick Break and Rhyhorn's Horn Attack both hit Geodude.

Geodude is not impressed by his ally's decision but he chose to ignore it. He would unleash his anger on Elekid with another Rock Throw as Rhyhorn stared at the two Pokémon fighting, unsure who to help.

And another Rock Throw connected; they really needed to work on his ability to roll off of these attacks. "It's worked so far... Elekid, Brick Break on Geodude!" Jeez, these things were tougher than he'd thought. Elekid was still winning this slugfest of sorts.

Geodude was hit again. It looks like the two foes will go down in just one last attack to each.

"Elekid, hit the ground beneath Rhyhorn with Brick Break!" Izzy shouted, hoping it would work as a pitfall of sorts, should Lasso want to catch it. If not, it'd let him focus on that pesky Geodude at the least.

The part of the ground that was hit had a huge crack on it but Elekid's not that strong enough to make something like a pitfall. Rhyhorn backed away and would try to escape as quickly as he could; though not really that quick as he is limping now. Geodude chose to be the hero and would fight to the end. He would use another Rock Throw towards Elekid.

Close. "Elekid, use Quick Attack to dodge that Rock Throw, and see if you can take down that Rhyhorn with Brick Break. I hate to chase down a weakened Pokemon, but he should have known what he was getting into. This Rock Throw grazed Elekid's back, just enough to scratch him. At least he's getting faster. Or maybe Geodude's just tiring out. Either way... It's good, Elekid can't brawl in quite the same way they can.

Both fainted.

OOC: I lost track of HP, sorry. It won't happen again, mister.

Elekid grew to Level 13 with 9 EXP left!

((Is whatever. I'll assume he needs healing))

"Nice job, Elekid!" Watching him flex his arm, Izzy had to laugh. He noticed the cops were still apprehensive to approach the group of them. Omastar still needed dealing with, too. Crouching, he faced Omastar, "If you're just wild, I'd say you should just go home. But I feel like you have a Trainer, so we should probably look for him or her..."

The expression on Omastar's face shows that he completely trusts Izzy now. Lasso's footsteps are heard and he is walking towards the two. "Eh, these Pokémon are too easy. So what are we going to do to this Omastar," he asked. Omastar told the two of them that his Trainer was a very bad man and he does not wish to return to his side anymore.

He explained that his Trainer flew to Cerulean's skies with his Charizard a few days ago and that was when he threw Omastar's Poké Ball. The Poké Ball met the ground and the impact broke it to pieces but safely released him. He explained that he was completely confused and did not know where he was. He just knew that his Trainer is nowhere to be found and that he actually liked being a lost Pokémon than being around his evil Trainer.

We need Misty here. "We can't take him where he needs to go. The nearby mountains have Pokemon closer to his strength, but I doubt Lasso and I could escort him there without getting attacked. Omastar, I'm trusting you to go there on your own. There's a river outside, and once you cross it, you'll be in your new home.I will come visit you someday, once I become stronger." Izzy stood, thanked Lasso, and walked over to the police. "Did you want to see me, officers?" He was hoping they would focus on him, instead of Omastar.

One of the cops answered Izzy, "We wanted to but there's no reason for it now. Don't worry, neither the two of you is going to the precinct. We would like to apologize for our mistakes. We were only making things harder."

"It's good you've finally realized your mistakes," said a female coming closer. It's Officer Jenny. "I went here as quickly as I could the very moment Nurse Joy reported to me the failure of this cops. They are all rookies and this was their first mission. I was also informed that there was a cop who talked to you and claimed that he is a higher rank. Don't believe him and I apologize for this inconvenience. I talked to the general about this and they're thinking of a suitable punishment for this group. Meanwhile, Cerulean will be temporarily given a new task force to protect her while these rookies learn their 'lesson'. I'm pretty sure you'd trust me enough if I tell you that I'll take the Omastar from here and will leave him under the supervision of the day-care man south of Cerulean. The police force is very thankful for your heroic efforts and we admire your bravery, Trainer," she said.

Lasso walked towards them, "That sounds pretty good to me. Anyway, Officer Jenny. You're looking very beautiful today. I really love your eyes and your posture as always. An angel like you should be able to give the Omastar happiness. My name is Lasso and I'm so heroic. I helped in rescuing and making the Omastar feel better."

It seems Lasso is exactly like Brock, the Pewter Gym Leader when it comes to Officer Jenny. "You remind me of that Brock-jerk."

"In all seriousness, if it wasn't for him, none of this would have worked out at all. I owe you a lot. And Officer Jenny, I would be very grateful if you would do that, and I'm sure Omastar feels the same." Izzy couldn't believe all of this was happening on the first day of his journey. "Speaking of Brock, I need to go to Pewter City... and challenge him."

Lasso gave Izzy one of those 'I'm a badass' grins. "Nah, it's nothing. Well, this was a good experience. Officer Jenny and Izzy, I'm afraid I'll have to excuse myself now. I should go heal up my Charmander and continue my journey. I hope we meet again, Izzy," Lasso said and he walked away.

"Well, good luck on your journey," Officer Jenny said to Lasso as he replied with a thumbs up. "By the way, I'm pretty sure the media would be here in just a short time. Is it okay if we feature you on TV? I know they'll ask if you can be interviewed but I'm pretty sure you have other things to do. Whatever, it's your choice. What do you think," she asked, now looking at Izzy.

Izzy cast his eyes downward. "Ma'am, if it's all the same to you, I'd prefer to remain anonymous. Elekid and I are on this journey to become stronger, and I don't really want that kind of attention. I appreciate the thought, though, Officer. C'mon, Elekid, let's go." He really didn't want to turn back to Cerulean, so he looked at Elekid, and figured he could make it through the tunnel. And so, they headed to Pewter, hoping they'd be able to challenge Brock, and earn their first gym badge.

OOC: Well then you'll have to make a new topic in Pewter City. And don't forget to heal up, fella.
